RAGBRAI Stats and Techie Tools Galore from GeoBike!

RAGBRAI is grateful to Rich Ketcham and GeoBike for providing RAGBRAIers with some great technical information and tools about the RAGBRAI XLII route and towns.  GeoBike is also the place that you can find every stat on all 42 routes that RAGBRAI has traveled over the years.

The GeoBike.com site provides links to download GoogleEarth files, the GPS Package and the Computrainer package.  The “factoid” page will boggle the stat geek’s mind with distances, elevations, feet of climb, climb grades and segment difficulties.

GeoBike is also our virtual historian with data on past RAGBRAI rides, overnight towns and pass-through towns.  So if you wanted to look up how many times RAGBRAI has visited Mason City or when was the last time we traveled through Bancroft, GeoBike is the site.  If you wanted to see what was the hardest day of riding in RAGBRAI history or which was the easiest climbing RAGBRAI, you’ll enjoy the site.
