I am excited to announce our first speaker — Charles Brown, MPA is a self-proclaimed “street-level researcher,” working at the intersection of transportation, health, and equity. He serves as a senior researcher with the Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center (VTC) and adjunct professor at the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, both at Rutgers University.  Mr. Brown will be delivering our afternoon keynote presentation and surely will not be one you want to miss.

The Iowa Bicycle Summit has adapted this year to include the Friday Continuing Education tracks, the Iowa Bike Expo, and the Iowa Safe Routes to School Conference.  And, we are making this virtual conference seem like a real conference with participant kits, discussion and networking forums, and much more.  Continuing education credits are included with your registration fee for:

  • American Institute of Certified Planners Continuing Maintenance (AICP CM)
  • Landscape Architecture Continuing Education System (LA CES PDH)
  • National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) CEU equivalency petition
  • CEU equivalency petition for other organizations (please inquire with American Trails)
