Other safety information:
It's
time to create a cycle of encouragement. Let's encourage
more bicyclists to ride. More bicyclists will encourage
government agencies to build more trails, lanes, and complete
streets. More complete streets will encourage friendlier
traffic. Friendlier traffic will encourage more people to
ride, and the cycle repeats.
Many bicyclists want to know
about the Iowa Code as it relates to
bicycling, as well as the Iowa
DOT's Drivers Manual and the Iowa DOT
Driver's License Exam. The articles are provided by IBC
Advisory Council member Earl W. Hill. Earl has a recurring
article in the North
Iowa Touring Club's news section. Check out the section for
articles on specific case rulings and insurance requirements.
