The Des Moines Bicycle Summit was held on July 14, 2009 to engage the City of Des Moines community members in the Bicycle and Trail Master Planning process. This workshop was designed to present community-specific information and to solicit public input from residents of the City of Des Moines. The purpose of the workshop was to collect comments on bicycle issues and priorities. An online survey was also posted on the City’s website, which received thirty-six (36) responses in July and August of 2009.
