Here are a few facts – just in the Sioux City metro area.

The flood is also affecting the re-building of two key trails that have been closed due to I-29 re-construction thru Sioux City. The Chautauqua Trail along the Missouri River in the southern part of Sioux City has been closed for the I-29 work and much of it is now also under water.
