Bicycling On the standard 35 question knowledge exam:
One question concerning slow moving vehicles on county
highways and what a driver should be prepared to do.
On the sign portion of the test, we illustrate a SMV
symbol. The tester has to identify it.

vehicle approaching the intersection. The approaching vehicle is described as a
motorcyclist or bicyclist (the graphic could be either). The tester must answer
who has the right-of-way.
On the sign portion of the test, we illustrate the school
zone/crossing shape. The tester must identify it.
On the 39 question oral version of the test, we have:
A graphic of an intersection with a marked crosswalk. The
tester must show where a vehicle is to stop.
A graphic of a pedestrian at an intersection. A vehicle
is about to turn. The tester must tell the examiner who must wait.
The same left turn graphic as describe for the standard
test.
In the signs, we have the SMV and school crossing sign
that must be identified.
(the oral version is administered to illiterate
people, those who have repeated difficulty with the standard knowledge exam and
some elderly persons.)
