Cascade Complete
Streets
Thanks to efforts by the Cascade Cycling Club, Club Safety Director Randy
Lyons, and the City of Cascade the first Iowa complete streets policy has been
passed. Cascade (pop. 1,950) is a leader in complete street design by
passing their own policy statement regarding complete streets (read
the full text). The community hopes the policy will make their
streets safer and easier to use for bicyclists and walkers as well as improve
the quality of life for the community.
